Download Central

Change to the code occurs continuously – adding features as needed for my or colleagues’ research activities.  Support of Linux/Unix is available, just not as an unconstrained download since the entire source code must be distributed (see below and very below). Check often if you want to stay at the bleeding edge - the distribution may change daily – or I may do nothing for many months.  I obviously do not believe in static versions, but do now have some revision control so can go backwards if there is an issue.  Everyone is encouraged to upgrade to the most recent set of fixes and enhancements.

My son, Ian, taught me how to embed the required C redistributables into the install script. Hopefully this is no longer an issue.

General Information:

Updating:

Due to install program limitations, you must uninstall the current version before updating.  However, all of your customization will be retained, including license information (if any).

Users with a real license:

Thanks for having supported my Fresca habit.  The original serial number will continue to unlock all updates and revisions.  Just enter BETA-02-0000-aaaa or any random string during the install.

Test and Evaluation Serial Number (BETA-02-0000-abcd):

The current version (with no restrictions) can be installed BETA-02-0000-abcd.  This serial number is valid for 360-720 days and can be renewed indefinitely, requiring only that you download the latest version with fixes.  I prefer this method as you are forced to get fixes!

Linux and Unix versions:

The source code tree is on this site, but hidden.  Please send e-mail to support@genplot.com and get Prof. Thompson to send you the information. You may have to bug him multiple times to get a response.  Or try downloads/linux if you can guess the rest of the web address.
